To our families that are isolating at this time.  We are always here to support and help you.  When isolating, it can take a toll on our mental health and emotional wellbeing so it's important to lower expectations, we do not need to put more pressure on ourselves to fill our days with baking, activities, hobbies, work and other commitments unless we feel able.....some days having cuddles in pjs is all we can manage......some days existing is enough.

Covid-19 Useful Contacts

If any families are in need of support The One Reading Community Hub is a fantastic new resource.  It has been created for Reading Borough Council residents needing additional support during the outbreak and can help with food/urgent supplies, money concerns and advice, wellbeing and anxiety as well as other issues. Families can either self-refer or phone 0800 1894325. You can also contact Helen at  or on 07494870992 and she will complete the form with you. The One Reading Community Hub is a partnership between Reading Borough Council, Reading Voluntary Action and Reading's wide and varied voluntary and community sector.  We have been amazed by the service that they have already provided some of our families. The public is being urged to only contact the Hub if they have urgent welfare needs which a family member or trusted friend cannot help them with. This is so that resources can be directed to the people that need it most at this challenging time. All offers of help and support are welcome from individuals, businesses and other organisations. The Hub cannot provide health advice and will direct customers to NHS 111.
