Headteacher Welcome
As Headteacher, I'm delighted to welcome you to our wonderful Centre, where our vision of 'be kind, have fun, be you! shapes everything we do.
I've been privileged to be part of the Norcot family since 2012, and I remain as passionate as ever about the difference we make to children's lives every single day. I am fortunate to work with such a talented staff team, supported by a dedicated board of Governors who share my commitment to providing high-quality early years education for children and their families.
My connection to Norcot runs deep – both my children attended here before I joined the team. I experienced first-hand, as a parent, the nurturing environment and exceptional care that makes this Centre so special. That perspective continues to drive my passion for ensuring every family feels the same sense of belonging and trust that I did.
At Norcot, we believe that early childhood should be filled with joy, discovery and belonging. Our rich, play-based curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and nurture each child's unique personality and talents. We celebrate individuality whilst teaching kindness and respect, creating an inclusive environment where children feel safe to explore, thrive, take risks and simply be themselves.
Despite being a large Centre, we're incredibly proud of our warm, family-friendly atmosphere. We don't just educate children – we support whole families, recognising that you are your child's first and most important educator. We work closely with you as partners in your child's journey, listening to your hopes and dreams for them and making sure your voice is heard in every decision about their support and development.
Our three buildings each feature exciting, imaginative garden spaces where learning comes alive through play and exploration.
Our provision includes:
- Nursery School for children aged 2-5 years (term-time)
- Inclusion Base for children with additional needs aged 2-5 years (term-time)
- Waterside Day Care for children from 3 months to 5 years (year-round)
Our website offers a glimpse of what makes us special, but nothing compares to experiencing our Centre in person – seeing the children's faces light up as they learn through play, and feeling the warmth of our truly inclusive community.
Please call us to book a visit. Together, we will ensure your child's first steps in education are happy, successful, and full of fun.
